Dear Friends,
How time flies – I have been at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton for an entire month! I have been commuting from Baltimore each day as the rectory has been spruced up with some paint and the refinishing of the hard wood floors. I am really looking forward to settling in and getting into a routine absent the commute. My thanks to Liam Benton who has been busy getting the house ready. I promised him I would not buy any more furniture that requires assembly!
I am heading off for summer vacation today. As we move into the final month of summer, the staff is planning for the new pastoral-work year. In my absence, various staff members will use this space to share programing information for the upcoming year. I hope you find the information helpful. Always feel free to contact me or a staff member should you have any questions about the work of the parish.
I have been very concerned that the Blessed Sacrament has been left unattended for significant periods of time on Tuesday’s during exposition. It is the responsibility of Pastors to assure that at least two (2) people are present at all times during exposition. Beginning this Tuesday, the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed from the conclusion of the morning Mass until 12 noon.
Interested in being a Catholic or at least exploring the possibility of Catholicism? Are you or someone you know looking for a church home? Have you been coming to Mass for years with your family but are not officially a Catholic? Are you curious about the Church and would like to know more? If so, give Sarah Jarzembowski, Director of Evangelization of call. We very much would like to speak with you.
Finally, next week is “DONUT SUNDAY” after the 9:30 Mass.
Have a Good Week!
Msgr. Woy
PS: We can use help assembling the back packs for the children served by our sister parish St. Gregory. The packs will be assembled on Saturday, August 6th & 13th.

A reminder....although masking is now optional, we encourage all parishioners to use your best judgement about wearing a mask especially if you are not vaccinated or immunocompromised. Please use the hand sanitizers in the Narthex and when you enter the church at the Food Pantry entrance. As always, if you are not feeling well, have a fever or persistent cough, please stay home and watch our live-streamed Mass online.
As usual, we will continue to live-stream Mass (Mon—Thurs at 9:00am and Sunday at 9:30am) on the parish Facebook (link) and uploaded on YouTube (link), and our parish website, https://www.seaseton.org/Resources/Media.
