Dear Friends,
Please welcome, Fr. Tomás Surlis who will be covering the parish for the first 10 days of July while I am away on vacation. Fr. Surlis is Rector of St. Patrick’s National Seminary, Maynooth, Ireland and is the nephew of the late Aidan & Catherine Surlis. Fr. Surlis graciously agreed to provide priestly coverage for our parish while he is on summer holiday. I know you will offer him a warm welcome.
Paulist Fr. John Hurley from San Jose, California will provide priestly coverage the latter part of July. Fr. Hurley is retired and currently residing in San Jose, California. However, he is no stranger to the area. Fr. Hurley served as Director for Office Evangelization for the National Conference of Catholic Bishops prior to working in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Fr. John is a good friend and is enjoying a very active retirement.
Please consult the bulletin for the July daily Mass schedule. There will be a daily Mass on Tuesday, July 4th. However, Adoration will not be held on the 4th.
There is a real (great) need for Eucharistic Ministers, especially for the 5:30 Sunday evening Mass. If you are interested in serving in any of the liturgical ministries (lector, EM, server, usher) contact Laryessa Worthington in the parish office at laryessa.worthingon@seaseton.org or 410-721-5770 x224.
110+ parishioners have signed up for “FORMED” – the premier Catholic streaming service. There is something for everyone in “Formed:” award-winning studies and parish programs, inspiring audio content, movies, e-books, and family-friendly kid’s programing. We have bought a parish-wide subscription which means it is free to you. You will find below instructions on how to access “FORMED.”
Happy 4th of July & Enjoy the Summer!
Msgr. Woy
