Dear Friends,

Summertime is a season of transitions and so it is for SETON parish.  This weekend, we bid “farewell” not “goodbye” to Brendan Walls after 21+ years as director of liturgical music.  There will be a “greet & go” reception for Brendan following the 11 AM Mass in the parish hall.  All are invited to stop by to say “THANKS” and to wish Brendan well as he begins a new chapter in life.  Thank You seems to be so little for so much, but THANKS Brendan for all you have done for our beloved parish.  You will always have a home with us.  

As Brendan’s ministry concludes, I am delighted to announce two new additions to our parish staff.  Mary Ann Shoemaker will become the new Director of Music on July 1.  Mary Ann anticipates completing her Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance in December at The Catholic University of America.  She lives nearby in Millersville with her family.  Deacon Michael Fitzpatrick will join our staff on August 1st with responsibility for Adult Faith Formation and other evangelical efforts.  Mike and his wife Dawn (Shealy) are former parishioners who were active in the confirmation program and youth ministry.  Both positions were approved as part of the FY 24 budgeting process.   Welcome Mary Ann and Deacon Mike!

•  Summer Office Hours -- This is a friendly reminder that the Parish office is open Monday-Thursday from 9am - 4pm during the summer.  The office is closed on Fridays.
