Music Ministry helps people better participate in the dialogue of Liturgical Worship. The music provides a shared experience of giving and receiving and celebrating the life of Faith individually and communally. Jesus and his followers sang hymns and psalms regularly and like them we sing our faith in a more intentional, profound and meaningful way.
We invite you to join our cantors, organists, three choirs, 4 guitarists, 3 violinists, 2 flutes, 2 saxophones, 2 clarinets, and percussionists, to serve the 5 weekend liturgies, Holy Days, Stations of the Cross, Reconciliation Services, weddings and funerals. We help beautify the sacred space of prayer and evoke participation by all, whether in listening to or singing with us.
The Adult Choir rehearses Wednesday evenings at 7:00; the teenagers rehearse Mondays and Fridays at 5:00pm and Sundays at 4:30pm (an hour before the 5:30pm Mass) and the Children’s Choir sings about once a month, rehearsing Mondays at 4:00pm.
