Each summer, our parish combines efforts with the Church of the Holy Apostles to present the Young Saints VBS to children ages 4-10 at the School of the Incarnation. Children over the age of ten can participate as teen volunteers.
Vacation Bible School 2011
Get ready this summer for a wild celebration of God's unconditional love! At our PandaMania Totally Catholic Summer Program, kids will discover that God has a purpose and a plan for everyone and that he crafted each of us with his own loving hands. PandaMania will be held July 11-15, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at CHA/SOTI. Children’s registration forms for VBS are available below.
Adult Volunteers Needed - In order to make this VBS a great success we need LOTS of adult volunteers and help! Planning is underway, so don’t delay -- volunteer your services now! We need adults to serve as Crew Leaders to guide the groups to the various stations, to help run the various stations (bible lessons, crafts, snacks, games, and music), and to help with hospitality, decorations, and an outreach project. Adults who can volunteer all five days receive one FREE registration for their child. If you can’t help during the day, there is plenty of work to be done behind-the-scenes. On-site adult volunteers must comply with the Archdiocese Policy for the Protection of Children and Youth and complete STAND training and paperwork.
Teen Volunteers - Due to the overwhelming response of teen volunteer’s at last year’s VBS, we have adopted a new set of guidelines to determine how many teens can volunteer at this year’s VBS. All teen volunteers are required to complete an application for a position at VBS. The new guidelines can be viewed by clicking here.
