Every Christian realizes that they are gifted by God, and I believe that we all desire to give thanks and express our love of God in many ways. Our parish is a community of faith and each member participates by celebrating the sacraments, volunteering their time in the work of the parish and offering financial support for the work of the church.
Sometimes giving money is the easier thing to do in a parish; the more difficult is to give from our talents and abilities, and the most valuable commodity we own is our time - we have so little of it.
By putting it all together: our time, our volunteer ministry and our personal financial offering, we continue to be a vibrant faith community.
