High School

Our High School Ministry aims to create a welcoming Catholic community for high school teens where they can participate in our Church community, develop their personal relationship with God and grow into life long disciples of Jesus Christ!  We do this through several different avenues, they are;

5:30pm Family Mass – While teens are welcome to attend any Mass at Seton, the 5:30pm Mass on Sunday evenings specifically aims at appealing to families with children in Middle School and High School.  Not only does this Mass allow you to sleep in on Sundays, but it also gives teens the opportunity to participate as lectors, ushers and music ministers!  If you are in High School and interested in serving in any of these ministries for this Mass, please contact Mike in the Youth Ministry Office!

Wednesday Night Youth Group – The Youth Group meets every Wednesday evening at the parish inthe Great Hall 6:30pm - 7:45pm. During this time we play games and eat candy, but more importantly we also take time to discuss and learn about what it means to be a young Catholic.  This also serves as 9th and 10th grade Faith Formation.  It is open to all High School teens!

Social Nights – Once a month we gather just to have fun and grow in community!  We play ultimate Frisbee, have scavenger hunts, watch movies and much more!  We meet on the 4th Sunday of the month in the youth room after the 5:30pm Mass.  All High School teens are welcome and guaranteed to have a good time!

“Field Trips” – Through-out the year there are opportunities for High School teens to take trips away from Crofton with the Youth Group!  Some trips will be service and faith oriented and some will be just for fun.  The trips include: Work camps in the summer, Archdiocesan events, national/regional conferences, ski trips etc… Information for individual trips will be available in the bulletin as that trip approaches.
