Volunteers needed for Faith Formation!

The Faith Formation Program depends on volunteers.  Qualifications: A loving and open heart.  Benefits: Growing in your faith as you help children nurture their relationship with Christ.

Please complete the document Application for Ministry in Faith Formation (56 KB) and return to Mary Oshiro in the Faith Formation office.  Forms can be faxed to 410-721-5508 or emailed to mary.oshiro@seaseton.org.

Volunteers are needed for the following:

Faith Formation Classes

Thursday evenings from 6:30 - 7:45 p.m.

School of the Incarnation, 2601 Symphony Lane in Gambrills

Teach children in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade using the Sunday readings as a guide.  Help children learn to pray, serve and love Christ!

Classes begin Sept. 21st! Please call ASAP to Volunteer!  Faith Formation class fees waived for children of volunteers.

 

Sacramental Preparation Programs - Reconciliation (Fall) and Eucharist (Spring)

Monday evenings from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish

Teach children about Christ’s forgiveness and the special gift of His Body and Blood.

 

Rite of Christian Initiation adapted for Youth

Monday evenings from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

Welcome children into the faith and nurture their relationship with Jesus as they prepare for the Sacraments.

 

Bible Babies

Sunday Mornings - during 9:30 a.m. Mass (possibility of adding an 11:00 session with enough interest)

Mini Bible lessons with children up to age 4; Care for young children (6 months and up)

(Program runs Labor Day through Memorial Day)

 

Children’s Liturgy of the Word

Sunday mornings - during 9:30 or 11:00 a.m. Mass (possibility of adding a 5:30 p.m. session with enough interest)

Open up the Word of God with children (ages 4 & up) at a level they can understand

(Program runs Labor Day through Memorial Day)
