2010 Archbishop's Annual Appeal
Archdiocese of Baltimore
The Archbishop’s Annual Appeal begins in January and continues into February. Formerly the Archbishop’s Lenten Appeal, it was founded in 1992 to provide critical funding for over 300 parishes, schools, agencies, organizations, and ministries in the Archdiocese of Baltimore and around the world.
This year’s theme is "When I called, you answered me" (Psalm 138:3). Our contributions to our parish and our Archdiocese serve as a sign of our gratitude not only for God's answers to our prayers but also as a sign of our recognition that all that we are and all that we have are gifts given to us by God. Through your generosity, education, outreach, mission, and ministry touch the lives of thousands of individuals and families as we continue to share Christ’s love each day.
Our parish receives 25% of each dollar contributed up to our goal of $100,500. Then, we receive 50% of the additional funds received. This year we will commit our parish rebates for outreach to our sister parish in Haiti, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Tuition Assistance for Catholic Education and Youth Summer Workcamps.
In 2009, as a parish St. Elizabeth Ann Seton met its goal and increased its giving from the prior year by 147%. In 2010, please answer the Archbishop's request and make a generous pledge so that we can once again meet and exceed our goal. All pledges can be billed in ten monthly installments. We thank all who contribute either for the first time or in an increased capacity.
